Instructor Fatality During HPDE

My condolences to Tom Norby’s family and friends. I have a lot of respect for any instructor that rides in a car on a race track with someone else at the wheel. It is their instruction and passion that gets more people into this sport.

Roval Fun

I attended the Speedventures event on January 17, 2010. I always wanted to drive this track. Speeds were very fast on the oval section. The wall looming on the right was a reminder to be calm and smooth. It was great to zoom by the Auto Club logo on the left at the finish line. I imagined the stands full of people cheering us on as we pass at high speeds. I hope to shave off some seconds on my laps the next time I’m there.

Racecomp Engineering Tarmac 2 Coilovers Review

I was in the market for a coilover system for my 2005 Subaru STi. I did not want a JDM brand due to the stiffness overkill for the crappy roads in Los Angeles. I heard great reviews of the KW variant 3 coilovers from many STI owners so I figured I could not go wrong with getting those. But as I was about to drop my hard earned cash on them, Racecomp Engineering (RCE) announced their coilover made by KW to their specifications.
